- Download the printable and print it or take it to your local copy shop. I recommend using at least 80 lb or 110lb cardstock.
- Cut out the tags.
- Cut 2.25″ lengths of washi tape using non-stick scissors. Wrap the tape around the end of the tag and adhere to the tag back by overlapping the ends.
- Punch a hole over the black circle on the tag. Attach bakers twine to the tag.
- Decorate your birthday gifts with Washi Tape Birthday Gift Tags.
This project is simple and fun! A great activity for kids as the washi tape is low tack meaning it’s just sticky enough to adhere to the paper, but can be removed or repositioned if necessary.
These tags are a budget buster and would be perfect for birthday gifts for kids. You will get a lot of bang for your buck with this project because you use such a small amount of washi tape on each tag. Washi tape comes in a variety of colors and patterns and any tape would look fabulous on these tags.
