- Ultimate Card Making Tool Kit
- Cricut Sweet Treats cartridge
- Embossing folders: swiss dot, dot and reptile
- patterned paper
- colored cardstock
- adhesive
- hot glue gun and glue
- circle punches: 1″ and 1.25″
- flat wire wreath form
- Cut the flowers using patterned paper and the Sweet Treats cartridge or images at the following sizes: Flower 1 and 5 at 3″ and Flowers 2,3 and 4 at 2.5″.
- For Flower 1, punch two circles per flower at 1″ and 1.25″ with circle punches from cardstock.
- For Flower 2, cut the centers from the cartridge at 2.5″ from cardstock.
- For Flower 3, punch a circle at 1.25″ from cardstock.
- For Flower 4, cut the center from the cartridge at 2.5″ from cardstock.
- For Flower 5, cut the center from the cartridge at 3″ and punch a circle at 1.25″ from cardstock.
- Run the flower centers through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss using different folders to vary the look.
- Adhere all of the flowers together and adhere to the wire wreath form with hot glue or Tombow Aqua Liquid Glue. The Tombow glue is better if the wreath will be exposed to exterior temperature changes as it won’t have a tendency to pop off the wreath form like hot glue does when cold and hardened. If you do use the Tombow glue, you would need to weight down each flower as it dries to the form.
- Hang your Spring Paper Flower Wreath on your front porch or in your home to celebrate spring.
This project is a fun way to create something seasonal and doesn’t use too much in the way of supplies. All of the flower centers were created from paper scraps and you need one 12×12 sheet of patterned paper for each flower. That’s it. If you are looking for a fun project to give as a gift that doesn’t cost a lot of money, then you might want to try it. You might get hooked like I did and if you do, have fun creating.
Meet me back here for more spring goodness. Be creative!
