Photography Monday: Georgetown, CO

While we were visiting friends in Denver, they suggested that we visit this picturesque town in the Rocky Mountains.  Since its beginning as a mining camp in 1859, Georgetown has attracted those who have sought something special.  First, it was the magic of gold and silver ore, now it’s incredible recreational opportunities like hiking, biking and fishing.  Plus, you can enjoy great shopping and restaurants on 6th Street in the National Historic Landmark District and elsewhere in town.

Look for the orange tabby in the window above the door.

Love the wear and charm of this building!

The exterior details of the exquisite Hotel de Paris.

The turret details of this church are magnificent.

Such a quaint and charming town, which we will visit again next week!
