Marbled Valentine’s Day card
I made valentines for the adults in my family and my husband’s family. When I took the paper marbling class, I made a few sheets using red, purple and pink with the plan to make valentines. You need the following tools and supplies to make this card:
- marbled paper
- cardstock
- heart punch
- mini envelope template
- adhesive and foam tape
Fold the pink cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x5.5″. Using your favorite font in Microsoft Word, write Happy Valentine’s Day centered in three columns then trim the lavender cardstock to 3.25″x 4.5″. Make your own mini envelope template by tracing a larger envelope template and reducing it on the copier to the desired size that fits your heart punch. Trace the envelope template onto the marbled paper, cut, fold and adhere together. Punch out the heart. Attach the envelope to the top of the lavender cardstock and insert the heart by using the foam tape to add dimension.
