When you don’t know have any inkling as to what a particular person enjoys in terms of hobbies and interests, then it is a true shot in the dark.  This card was a created as a welcome card for a teammate so I chose this design because I loved the imagery.  It made me smile.

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the Folk Art Doll Card:

  1. Fold the raspberry cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″.
  2. Fold the raspberry cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Cut the doll at 4″ high and assemble using the tape runner and mini tape runner.
  4. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss.
  5. Adhere the embossed cardstock to the card and the doll to the embossed cardstock using the tape runner.
  6. Write your sentiment and mail or gift the Folk Art Doll Card.

As I found out later, the recipient of this card was of Armenian descent so this card was perfect for her.  I knew that.  Not really, but sometimes it happens that way.  It is now proudly displayed at her desk for all to see.
