Hoot! Hoot! It’s your birthday!
A birthday card for a colleague that loves owls. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Create a Critter 2 cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- embossing folder
- cardstock
- adhesive
- googly eyes
Fold the royal blue cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut all of the pieces for the owl at 4″ and the party hat at 5″. Adhere all of the pieces of the owl together. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the owl and party hat to the embossed cardstock and the googly eyes to the owl.
When I found out that owls were her favorite, the hardest part was choosing which one to create. Within my collection of cartridges, I had several to choose from and thought this one was the cutest. She loved it and he is a permanent fixture on her desk.
