What kind of card do you make for your mother-in-law’s birthday? A llama card, of course, especially if she has a sense of humor. You need the following supplies and tools to make this card:
- Cricut machine
- Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folder
- cardstock
- adhesive
Fold the green cardstock so it is a finished size of 4″x 8″ and cut the orange cardstock to 3.75″x 6.5″. Cut all of the pieces for the llama at 5″. Adhere all of the layers of the llama together. Run the orange cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the llama to the embossed cardstock.
I thought this card was most appropriate for my mother-in-law because she makes a Christmas donation in our name to Heifer International. By the way, she loved the card.

The llama was just too adorable to not use and we are always thrilled that a donation is given in our name to such a worthwhile organization.

So cute! I love the llama!!

Yes, I do too! It is an unusual subject matter for a birthday card, but I think that is what makes it so appealing and fun.

Thank you. Isn’t it? It came from an older Cricut cartridge, but they are all excellent and well designed.
