Two! Four! Six! Eight!
My mother-in-law’s birthday was last week and she is also recovering from a serious illness. I wanted her birthday card to be fun and encouraging. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Cricut Create a Friend cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folder
- cardstock
- adhesive
Fold the teal cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut all of the pieces for the cheerleader at 3.5″. Adhere all of the layers of the cheerleader together. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the cheerleader to the embossed cardstock.
We all need positive encouragement no matter our age and this card was perfectly suited to accomplish that task. My husband wrote a cheesy, enthusiastic greeting, which she truly loved even though she rolled her eyes after she read it. Buffi, the cheerleader, and her card were a hit!
