What do you give your parents for their wedding anniversary when they can buy whatever they want? Something handcrafted, of course. You need the following tools and supplies to create this wreath:
- Cricut machine
- Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folders
- cardstock and patterned paper
- adhesive and foam dots
- hot glue gun
- circle punches
- 6″ wire wreath form
Cut the flowers using the Sweet Treats cartridge at the following sizes: Flower 1 and 5 at 2″ and Flowers 2,3 and 4 at 1.5″. For Flower 1, punch two circles per flower at .75″ and 1″ with circle punches. For Flower 2, cut the centers from the cartridge at 1.5″. For Flower 3, punch a circle at .75″. For Flower 4, cut the center from the cartridge at 1.5″. For Flower 5, cut the center from the cartridge at 2″ and punch a circle at 1″. Run the flower centers through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Put all of the flowers together and adhere to the wire wreath form with hot glue.
This wreath was my first attempt at using the Cricut paper flowers. I am thrilled with the results and now am a little obsessed with the process. So many variations and color ways. The possibilities are endless! By the way, my mother has displayed it amongst her pressed glass bowls on her sideboard. Perfect!
