Christmas tree paper garland
On Thanksgiving weekend, I visited a charming craft fair and saw marvelous paper garlands made by Paul Murray. I took his inspiration and created my own version. You will need the following supplies and tools to create this garland:
- Creative Memories Border Maker System
- Creative Memories Border Maker cartridge
- sewing machine
- vintage book paper
- ribbon
- thread
I trimmed the book paper to 3″ wide. Punched out the borders with the CM Border Maker System and trimmed the borders again to 1.5″ wide. Using a zigzag stitch, I attached the ribbon to the border with green thread. Sew simple!

You can find the Border Maker System and Border Maker cartridges here. The cartridge I used to make the border is no longer available, but any cartridge will work.
