A dear friend pinned this card on Pinterest and I wanted to make my own version. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cardstock
- Patterned paper
- Cuttlebug machine and embossing folder
- Colored twine
- adhesive and foam tape
Fold the white cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x5.5″ and cut another piece of white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut five pieces of patterned paper to 5/8″ x 3 1/4″. Adhere to a scrap piece of white cardstock and trim to fit. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Create and print out happy birthday on a scrap piece of white cardstock. Trim up to give it a banner feel. Adhere the gift box to the embossed cardstock and adhere the banner to the gift with foam tape. Tie the colored twine in a bow and adhere to the top of the gift.
Such a fun, festive card and a great way to use those scraps. I love the possibilities!
Happy card making!
