I promised I would share more birthday cards. Let’s get going! This card was for my sister-in-law and I thought it was time to revisit some of my older Cricut cartridges. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- embossing folder
- circle punches
- cardstock
- adhesive
Fold the orchid cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut all of the pieces for the gift at 4″. Adhere all of the pieces of the gift together and add circle punch outs to the polka dots. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the gift to the embossed cardstock.
Since I enlarged the gift image, the polka dots looked like there were missing something. I pulled out my circle punches and played with it until it looked complete. It looks great and I am happy with the result.
