These pop up box cards are all over Pinterest and I have been obsessed with them for about two years. I am sharing my cheater way of creating these fabulous cards without using rubber stamps.
Gather the following tools and supplies to create the Birthday Pop Up Card:

- Jillibean Soup Birthday Bisque paper
- Jillibean Soup Birthday Bisque Pea Pod Parts
- scoring board
- adhesive
- foam dots and
- Follow this tutorial from Splitcoaststampers to create the box.
- Add assorted pea pod parts to the flaps, straps and inside front of card using the foam tape and dots.
- Add embellishments to the back of the card.
- Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie below and mail the Birthday Pop Up Card. [mailerlite_form form_id=2]
You will want to add the pod parts to the straps in ascending order so it doesn’t block the inside front of the card. Also, having varying thicknesses of foam tape and dots gives you the flexibility to stack the pod parts and adds emphasis. I used my favorite Cricut Creative Memories cartridge, Tiny Treasures, to create the 80 on the inside front of the card. A great alternative Cricut cartridge is the cartridge.
I also recommend making your own envelope using the and choosing size 6×7. This card has enormous wow factor so you should make it for that special person in your life that will truly appreciate it. I created this card for my mother-in-law and she had it on view for weeks.
