Remember, it is all about the frosting.
It was time to revisit this image and make it bigger and more current with today’s cupcake trends. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Cricut/Creative Memories Tiny Treasures cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- embossing folder
- cardstock
- patterned paper
- adhesive
Fold the pink cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut the cupcake at 4.5″.. Run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the cupcake to the embossed cardstock.
The addition of the glittered cherry and metallic frosting adds the glitz factor needed to make this one trendy cupcake. My co-worker was the recipient of this birthday card and she loved it.
