Autumn is almost here and I strongly recommend you create this easy DIY Autumn Paper Leaves Wreath to decorate for the fall season. Made with very few supplies, you can make it in the morning and have it on display by the afternoon.
Gather the following tools and supplies to create the Autumn Paper Leaves Wreath:
- Ultimate Card Making Tool Kit
- Cricut Preserves cartridge
- wire wreath form
- patterned paper
- hot glue
- Cut out lots and lots of grapevine leaves from the Preserves cartridge using a variety of patterned papers.
- Pinch each leaf at the base before adhering to the wire wreath form.
- Adhere the leaves with hot glue, two at a time to the form.
- Stagger the leaves as you work around the wreath.
- Hang your Autumn Paper Leaves Wreath masterpiece!
When I created this wreath, I used all of the beige, brown and tan papers I had on hand. If you are already a paper crafter, card maker or scrapbooker, it is a great way to use up your paper scraps. If not, then pick your favorite fall papers and make a stunning wreath that can be displayed indoors or outdoors. My favorite rustic chair on my front porch displays this beautiful wreath or the Autumn Curly Paper Wreath depending on my mood. You can use the leftover paper scraps from this project to create the Autumn Paper Garland and have a matching pair of decorations. A definite seasonal decorating win!
With autumn around the corner, it means Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas aren’t far behind. Meet me back here for lots of paper crafting seasonal projects that won’t break your decorating piggy bank.
Until next time, be creative!
