- .75″ and 5/8″ circle punches
- herringbone embossing folder
- white and colored cardstock
- tape runner
- glue pen
- foam squares
- Cut the white cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide.
- Fold the white cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
- Punch out 10 flowers using the flower die. Punch out 5 circles each from both circle punches.
- Run the smaller gold circles using the embossing folder through the Cuttlebug machine. Make sure you line up the circles to be between the vertical lines on the folder so each center looks like it has embossed V’s.
- Adhere the small embossed centers to the larger circles using the tape runner.
- Adhere two flowers together slightly off so it looks like a shadow. Adhere the yellow centers to each flower.
- Cut happy birthday using the die and Cuttlebug.
- Adhere happy birthday to the card. Adhere the flowers to the card using both foam squares and tape runner. For the flowers that overlap each other, use foam squares to add the lift necessary to complete the design.

For the flower lovers in your life, this card would be perfect. I created this card for the flowers to be daisies, but you could change the petals and centers for a completely different look. You are only limited by your imagination. Meet me back here for Day 18 of the 31 Days of Handmade Cards. Be creative!
Editor’s note: I created this card using the Creative Memories daisy punch , which is no longer available. Any daisy punch is a suitable alternative.
